These Boots are so comfy! I've ordered two pair! Size is spot on!Handle long walks perfectly.I have been wearing it few days a week for a few months hiking steep hills. The shoes are breathable and comfortable. I just wish they have wide shoes. This is the most comfortable of all 4 Pairs of Dannner that I ordered (different styles) all the others were returned.OMG, great boots. No break in time. I work 8× hours and it's mostly at a fast walk. I put on about 5 miles a day and I do it in comfort wearing these boots! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!I wanted somewhat lightweight boots but these feel flimsy. They do not feel or smell like genuine suede. These feel like that cheap microsuede. They’re not ugly but they’re not exactly attractive. I’m debating whether to send them back. There is not a lot of support so they are not particularly comfortable. I was hoping they would look more rugged.I love these boots! They do run big per Danner website - i wear a 7.5 or 8 and I ordered 7 and they fit fine and in fact have stretched out so they feel perfect with thicker socks. Next time I will order a 6.5 per Danner recommendation. These also run warm so if you use on a hot summer day expect sweaty feets :) but not too bad - perfect for Winter though. Cute, comfy and lightweight - worth the $, plus hard to find cheaper - they sell out before they'll ever go on sale. Happy Hiking!Update: I've been wearing these boots every day for about a month now. They've stretched a bit and now feel perfectly snug with a slightly thicker sock. In other words, they've stretched out a bit. Still love them. They're great.First review:I'm a solid size 9, sometimes 9.5, but the size 9s in the Chukka's were way too big. The 8.5 fits pretty perfectly. I have narrow heels and the boots don't slip which is great. I have high arches and these boots do not provide much by way of arch support, but an insole should take care of that. I've worn these several days now of just walking around in the cold, and they're pretty warm and really comfortable. I like the retro look of the brown with red laces. RecommendI was looking for a hiking boot that wasn’t too bulky and was lighter than a traditional hiker. These are SO good. It should be noted that I’m not a serious hiker- Mostly trails and light hikes. These required ZERO break in time and were comfy right out of the box. I’ve also received many compliments!
